Проблема со слоями

Начал осваивать верстку слоями. Помогите, плиз, решить такую проблемку...

Есть основной слой - контейнер, который выравнивается по центру страницы. В нем (подобно ячейкам таблицы) есть слои.

Во всех браузерах смотрится нормально. Только в IE видно разрыв между слоями, и то разрыв только между нижними и верхними слоями, между соседними слоями разрыва нет.
