Вполне себе рабочие конструкции:

div.align-center

#some-id.align-center

И вовсе не глупо, зачастую облегчает жизнь за счет расширения пространства имен в стиля без расширения пространства имен в хтмл.

Рабочие конечно, но тем кто еще поддерживает ие6 (наша контора в частности), нужно знать одну особенность поведения ие6.

Посмотрите и сравните два кода:

Тоесть в цсс стили для селектора #id.class допускаеться только один раз, если добавить #id.class2 то ие6 проигнорит правила для второго селектороа ( #id.class2)

Это на заметку тем кому по неволе приходится еще мириться с ие6 (как мне :lol:)
