Div, который занимает все оставшееся место

Добрый день!

Попытался воспроизвести свою ситуацию, упростив ее до минимума.

Необходимо, чтобы div #center занял все оставшееся место между #top и #bottom

Добавьте:


#outer {
   position: relative;
}

#center {
   position: absolute;
   top: 100px;
   bottom: 100px;
   left: 0;
   right: 0;
}

height: auto - это... кхм, лишнее.
