ПОМОГИТЕ разбиратся с макетами!Хочу освоить но большие проблемы

У меня проблема можно ли такой макет выровнять по центру и задать ему общую ширину припустим 700px

я пытался огорнуть это все еще одним дивом и задать центрирование но не помогло!(position:fixed зараза)

оО У вас же есть

/*width:600px;*/overflow: auto;

вот раскоментите, уберете position и все будет по центру с шириной 600пх
