RSS не отображается в браузере

Всем привет!

У меня такая проблема: не отображается rss в браузере в том месте, в котором он должен быть.

Браузер просто его не замечает (ни один из rss, даже со сторонних ресурсов), хотя все вроде написано верно:

<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>XXX</title>


    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Форум htmlbook.ru RSS" href="http://forum.htmlbook.ru/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=rss&type=blog">


</head>

Если кто знает в чем причина сообщите плз. Буду очень признателен за помощь.

Мне казалось что href должен вести на .rss

Этот код тоже не работает. Проблема скорее всего тут не в пути и не в коде.

В пустом доктайпе может быть?

У меня в Опере работает.
