Помогите определить ошибки, что они значат

Суть такая...Решил проверить сайт на валидность кода, пошел на сайт http://validator.w3.org/ загнал сайт... выдает ошибки... Не понимаю, почему это ошибки...

Например большинство ошибок для тега <p> со стилем:

Или вот для кнопки рейтинга mail.ru:

Не знаю почему... Подскажите...

в первом случае скорее всего потому, что блочный элемент находится в строчном (<b><p></p></b>)

а во втором, наверное, надо закрыть <img blah blah blah />
