Удаление слайдера в шаблоне

Сразу предупреждаю, что знаний в программировании и JavaScript с Jquery у меня нулевые, поэтому буду благодарна за доходчивые и простые объяснения. Возможно, не совсем по теме обращаюсь.

Вопрос состоит в том, что в шаблоне сайта мне необходимо удалить слайдер, который стоит на всех страницах в шапке сайта с тем, чтобы туда поместить обычную статичную картинку.

Тому, кто вызовится помочь, могу выслать index.html. Нет необходимости делать за меня эту работу, поскольку в дальнейшем мне потребуется это выполнять самостоятельно. Мне больше требуются объяснения, что и где удалить или заменить. Вот собственно и все. :rolleyes:
