Вордовский файл открывается по-разному...

Может кто по существу помочь?

В IE ссылки открывают не то что нужно, какой-то список XML файлов, а сам открываемый файл 1[1].zip.

В других браузерах все ок, а именно при клике выпадает запрос о сохранении вордовского файла и при открытии, к примеру, по первой ссылке открывается 1.docx

Пробовал на 2-х разных компах.

PS

В IE запускается PowerArchiver 2004 может в этом проблема? Если да, то как решить вопрос?

проверте ассоциации расширений. Расширение .docx должно быть ассоциировано с Microsoft Word , раз у вас запускается PowerArchiver то скорее всего расширение ассоциировано с ним, либо запускается он потому что docx это по сути и есть zip архив, а ворд у вас не установлен вовсе.

Дело в том, что у клиента та же беда. Что можно сделать, что бы эти файлы открывались у всех нормально? Залить на сервер эти файлы в другом формате?

В общем решил вопрос, поменял на файлы .doc

попробуйте в директории где лежат файлы на сервере создать файл .htaccess и написать в нем:
