интерфейс для читалки

делаю тут на досуги сайт-читалку http://syncbooks.org понял что надо интерфейс переделать, а то никто кроме меня похоже не понимает как им пользоваться. вот сделал небольшой прототипчик но у меня очень мало опыта в интерфейсах. В общем, мне бы надо сделать что-то удобное. При большом количестве книг проматывать вниз крайне неудобно.

  Здравствуйте, подскажите какой тег использовать для увеличения значения, пример на картинке. Вроде, про такой тег я слышала. Если есть тег прогресс бар, значит и такое должно быть.
