Некорректная работы метода GET

<!DOCTYPE HTML><html>   <title>Page1</title><head>  <title>Untitled</title></head><body>   <form action="code.php" method="get">   <p>Введите ваше имя:</p>   <input type="text" name="a" />   <input type="submit" value="send"/>   </form></body></html>

Обработчик:

<!DOCTYPE HTML><html><head>  <title>Untitled</title></head><body><p>Ваше имя:</p><?php$s=$_GET['a'];echo $s;echo "bla bla";?></body></html>

В итоге на странице после обработки ничего не выводиться, но в адрессной строке браузера результат обработки присутствует. Скрин для наглядности:

А почему текстовая страница должна обрабатывать php код? PHP код обрабатывает сервер, вы же обращаетесь не к серверу, а просто к странице которая лежит у вас на компьютере...

Локальный сервер должен же обрабатывать. Как сделать, чтобы данный код работал на локальном сервере?

Судя по скрину, вы обращаетесь не к серверу, а к конкретному файлу на диске N. Чтобы обратиться к серверу вам надо ввести в адресную строку вот это:

 

http://localhost/Project/code.php?a=test

UPD: Ну и проверьте запущен ли у вас сервер.
