Красивый и непонятный макет.

Мужики, помогайте. Ищу инфо уже дня два, не могу понять как убрать отступ от верхнего края страницы. Споткнулся уже на первом шагу.

а где код css? вы наверно не применили сброс стилей

* {margin:0; padding:0;} - это глобальный сброс для отступов и полей всех элементов страницы к нулю. Это наиболее часто используемый CSS сброс.

Копайте в сторону margin у элемента внутри header, у h1, скорей всего, и будет счастье
