2 div по центру и в них рисунки

В общем такая проблемка: есть 2 дива, расположенных по середине и в каждом из них по изображению размером 1024 на 768. В ксс прописанно overflow: hidden(для ие _overflow-x:hidden; _overflow-y:visible).

.block_content_2{
float: left;
width: 50%;
min-height: 150px;
overflow: hidden;

_height: 150px;
_overflow-x:hidden;
_overflow-y:visible;
}
.block_content_3{
min-height: 150px;
overflow: hidden;

_height: 150px;
_overflow-x:hidden;
_overflow-y:visible;
}

По идее, дивы должны оставаться по центру, а изображения образаться(в опере и мозиле так и выходит), а вот в ие первый див остается на месте, а второй "сползает" под первый.

Заранее благодарен за помощь.

Совершенно не понял вашей задумки, но, как мне кажется, вы хотели такого поведения:

Управлять элементами должен ты, а не браузер.

Я полностью согласен.

У одинаковых элементов в различных браузерах могут быть разные отступы. И не факт что следующая версия браузера будет ставить тот же отступ что и предыдущая. При обнулении же отступов мы имеем больший контроль над отображением страницы.
