Не коректно работает шаблон

Делаю первый сайт. В html и css разбираюсь очень и очень поверхностно. Сделал шаблон. В Денвере работал нормально ,а как перенес на сайт стало коряво. В Опере верхнее меню при наведении немного сдвинулось ,а в Эксплоере совсем коряво стало. Помогите разобраться. Сам вряд ли разберусь. А посмотреть можно тут http://astoria.jino.ru/

В код загляни)

если честно я не знаю как в опере достать код, а через мозилу лень загружать =)

ну по сути IE плохо работает с таким доктайпом попробуйте поставить самый строгий html доктайп

у вас есть таблица в которой ваше боковое меню, тк вот её нужно заключить в блок

т.е

<DIV>

<table>

.......

</table>

<DIV>

и задать DIVу те же самые размеры как и у таблицы при помощи стилей

т.е в теге <head><style>.d{height:высота таблицы; width:ширина таблицы; background-image:url(адрес к фоновому изображению в gif формате);}</style></head>

стиль нужно прикрепить атрибутом class

т.е

<DIV class="d">
