Возможно ли при применению к тескту text-decoration: underline; менять толщину, ширину и цвет линии подчеркивания в отличии от самого текста

Видимо нужно создать див с параметрами типо: font-weight: 20px; text-decoration: underline;, а в него засунуть спан с параметрами: font-weight: 14px; text-decoration: none;

Так, чтобы подчеркивание оставалось подчеркиванием, а не бордером, фоном или еще чем-нибудь, управлять внешним видом подчеркивания нельзя.

Просто border-bottom - не надо извращаться со спанами.

Тогда ничего лучше border-bottom нету, а там и цвет и толщина и т.п. устанавливается без проблем.
