TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Our technology department is building systems that serve the best customers in the world - our customers. Our platform uses some of the most cutting-edge technologies available. We have built most of our systems on open-source technologies. We use Linux, PHP, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Apache, Nginx and more (you can even help us figure out what else!).

Job Description

Job Type: full-time (35-40 hours)

If you are enthusiastic about writing excellent quality code and love solving challenging problems then this is a great opportunity for you. 

Responsibilities:

1. Front-end development;
2. Draw up detailed website specifications;
3. Design sample page layouts including text size and colors;
4. Create PSDs for visual layout of web pages, brand identities, email templates;
5. Implement design into HTML and CSS;
6. Establish and maintain design guidelines;
7. Update websites.

Qualifications

Required technical skills and experience:

1. Computer Science degree or equivalent experience;
2. 2+ years experience with HTML and CSS and JS, jQuery;
3. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools;
4. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively;
5. Web development experience with PHP or basic knowledge is a plus;
6. Magento Web development experience or basic knowledge is a plus;
7. Knowledge of WordPress standards and functionality is a plus;
8. Writing and speaking English (intermediate or higher).
