Хочу запихнуть таблицу в центр экрана, прочитал что это делается примерно так: 

<head>
<title>Новый Документ</title>
</head>
<body>
<style type="text/css">
  table {margin:0 auto;}
</style>
<table width="50" border="1" align="center">
  <tr>
	<td> </td>
  </tr>
</table> 
</body>
</html>

но, у меня не работает, подскажите плиз где я ошибся.:)

  table {margin: -25px 0 0 -25px; position: absolute; top: 50%; left: 50%; }
</style>

То-есть ты говориш что твоя таблица позиционирована абсолютно, что отступы сверху и слева - 50% (половина страницы). А чтобы она была таки именно посередине ее надо сдвинуть вверх и влево на половину ширины и высоты таблицы. тоесть на 25 туда и туда.
