Да как бы ничего особо интересного в статье не раскрыто. Подача какая-то скомканная, есть опечатки, орфографические ошибки и ляпы в стиле «подъезжая к станции, у меня слетела шляпа», демо-примеров нет. Словом, ничего удивительного в том, что статья не замечена людьми)

Извини за вопрос, то есть ты знал, как точно измерить отступ до текста? Где почерпнул эту инфу (потому что я нигде не могла найти)? У тебя есть свои таблицы с отступами для шрифтов? Или ты не верстаешь попиксельно, а тяп ляп?

И где орфографические ошибки, можешь показать? Еще раз прогнала текст через спелчекер - ни одной нет.

А эта таблица для всех браузеров проверена? Подозреваю, что она может оказаться разной в разных браузерах (тех, что рендерят шрифты с округлением, как IE8, и тех, кто использует субпиксельный рендеринг, как IE9+ и, если не ошибаюсь, новые Fx). И это, насколько я понимаю, для line-height: auto?

SelenIT, последний абзац вышеуказанной статьи:

Благодаря этому алгоритму и таблице для шрифта Arial, высота текста и отступов до него совпадает пиксель в пиксель, по крайней мере в моей операционной системе и моем браузере.

По поводу статьи. Прочитала. В чем ценность-то? Решение не найдено. За что хвалить?
